Shouting Secrets Out Loud.

As of the 22nd of August 2007

I can't even begin on how to explain the awesome-ness of today :) . Today is one of the days, that by the end of it, you can sleep to actually complete the day. That's the word, complete, yeah, the whole day felt complete :D . You know some days where you complain why does it feel so short, why does it feel like any other day, the same ol' routine, the same ol' chores. But not today, today felt significant :D . Yes that's the word too, SIGNIFICANT :D

First off, the outing to celebrate Hana and my so called freedom from our exam/exams (*because I had only had one paper, and she had 5 days of exam :P ). Me, Hana, Hani , Imran and Nabil first gathered at The Curve before anything . The second motive of the outing was to celebrate my birthday, which was 1 week earlier -_- . HAHAHA JK JK ! , what I meant was, THANKYOUUUU GUYSS ! :DD . Hehehe.

Actually I've a video of Hana and Hanu wishing me and Bob Happy Birthday, but I can't even watch the video twice in one go without having major cheek cramps and an insane blood rush to the face, so Im saving you guys the "torture" too :)

I've been warned earlier that I was going to replace Iffat on Friday as the vocals of his band, Medusa. I thought this was going to be another prank, but sadly (and fortunately, as I learned later) , it, was, frikkin, NOT O_O . So yeaaaaap, later that night, I've to stand on stage with shivering legs, and muttering lips. Nervousness itched in every single corner of my limbs. This, surprisingly, lasted only for a while. Until I got a steady hold of the mic, everything else that rolled downhill from there just felt natural. Although I just screamed along with the tempo with crap loads of nothings onto the mic, no lyrics or whatsoever, all and all, it felt AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEE :D . Seeing the crowd ( although not big enough to form a moshpit) hardcore dancing and headbanging below you, just feels, super-uber-ultra-mega-giga-awesome 8) .

Me and Matt

Oli sikiiit, hehe :P

HARDCOREE. FOR LIFE ! ( suara sengau )

The awesome, awesome crowd.

Me And Iffat

DIA PUN NAKKK

We played like our dads owns the little joint, and Iffat thought he came late enough to see us finished playing, when in fact we were just supposed to go up. So I thought, I don't have to do anything since Iffat was already there, but I came this far to turn back now, so with all my guts and balls clenched, I went up. Then Iffat joined, then Nabil from the sides, playing the Bongos :D . Mannnnn, the night was legendary :)

And you thought, with this much action, I'm all done for the night ;) . Well, almost, almost hehe. Then, we all went to Murni. Matt and the rest of the bandmates went to Kam Hyong to have their dinner, but I stayed to just, y'know, cool down with the Banana Special :) . I should've had Asam Jawa to cure my croaky voice, but what the heck (!), This Is Murni weh :D . Then as the night enfolds further and further, the drama grows. I dare not elaborate, but this added a much needed closure to an already unforgettable night :)

Wake Up And Smell The Coffee, Literally.

IT'S FRIKKIN 160808 :DDDD !!

Although for whatever reason, time seemed to blink like the Flash on a treadmill, and all of a sudden, I can sport a moustache and a beard without contradicting my age. Okay, maybe I am still not fond of the rugged look just yet, but point proven. I'M FINALLY LEGAL, I AM FINALLY EIGHTEEEN :D .

One thing blows tho, when Man said this " So cap, kalau kau bunuh orang, kau kena gantung dah" -_- . AND MY OH MY, do I feel like a mass murder coming on this glorious day, and why ? . Read onnnnn !

Half of the day was pretty much spent with me sleeping :P . I knoww, I knowwwwwww, I could've chosen other things to make me unconscious ( HAHA jk, alcohol sucks ) , but I chose the most natural way instead :) . Soon, the little flake of snow, started to snowball, when Aiq and Rudi invited me out for lunch at Fend's Ikan Bakar. My myy, the Sirap Bandung was so soo creammehhhhhh. Then, we're off for a little Quake 4 face-off 8) . And I won my first game everrr ! , must've been the birthday-boy luck :D .

After the brawl, I was sent home for a while to pick up a t-shirt that I don't mind sacrificing. *GULP* . Then, we all gathered at Murni for a little, nice get-together :) .

There were more people present than I imagined, thanks for coming guys !! :DDD . For the general picture of what I'd hoped my 18th bash would be, this hits bulls eye no doubt. Special thanks to Iffat, Aisya and Alysha for the scrumptious slices of Chocolate Banana cake and the other one which Im unsure of the name from Secret Recipe, but it's creamy and nutty, as my birthday cakes (y) thankyouuuuuu :) . And now, let the pictures do the blabbering for a while :) :

Sebelum

Grow your frikkin hair la Harriss, before something "TAK LOGIK" happens again -_-

Birthday cake 1 :)

Birthday cake 2 :)

Sedap doe raba kepala botak, rasa macam carpet.

Aiq, Siapa Sangka

The moment, where everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, even the random customers of Murni, started to shout and sing a Happy Birthday song to me, I swear I could've died by blood squirting out of my nearly exploding blood-red cheeks. But, but, I couldn't feel less eighteen if it weren't for that, so a GIGANTIC THANKYOU for all of you :)) (y)

How I wish this nice, comfortable dinner to linger on, and onn til' suddenly their bloated stomachs will, somehow, biologically trigger them to have temporary amnesia on my upcoming doomsday.

I guess not -_- , :(

We were all gathered at SS7's open space where Tot once executed the 180 degrees drift. And, the birthday boy, arriving fashionably late, doesn't ease the tension even by one bit. The dark atmosphere, only lighted up with flashes of the cars headlights, heightens up the mood and the suspense.

Harris's botak-head, is starting to really, REALLY worries me, first it was the random 1 on 1 in some TTDI's tennis court ( INI TAK LOGIKK ! ) , and now, he asked me to punch his face as hard as I can. It seems that it is his bald head is in command of his recent berserks. GROW BACK YOUR FRIKKIN' FRO LA WEYY ! , AKU TAKUT NI ! -_- .

I missed on the first shot, how embarrassing -_- . But even If I did land a few blows, he messaged me later saying "Aku tak rasa doe" , so it's pointless anyhow -_- . PEACE ! , I'm a lover not a fighter :DD ( Or as translated, "Whimp" ). Let's do this as rarely as possible okay dude ? :)

At the end of the purposeless fight, Harris tripped me down and shouted a war call " TELORRRRRRR ! " TELORRRRR !"

OH BOYYYYY !, this is frikkin' it -_-

As I lay helplessly on the tar road, I feel an endless torrents of egg whites and yolks, splashing all over me, no scratch that, all over poor little BOB -__- . I don't even know what have BOB done to all of you till he wasn't shown even a speck of mercy :P

I felt eggs, eggs, and more eggs, UNTIL ! , I was heavily sprinkled with this, this dirt-tasting powder. As more and more this substance pile up, and more and more of the taste and scent became prominent, I frikkin learned that it was, frikkin..COFFEEEEEEEE ! O___O . UGHHHHEWWWWWWTFFF!@#$

The smell lingered later on was unbearable, and I looked like a frikkin mud monster. BOB, well, obviously he'd seen much much better, brighter days, even that one time where BOB had a bald patch. Okay, maybe not as bad as the bald patch, but this one came to a very, very close second.

Selepas

The moment I said "Siapa nak hantar aku balik ni ?" . Everyone dashed into their respective cars and dashed like they've committed a murder (well, almost) . URGHHHHHHHH, Dah pandai baling, pandai hantar balik ahh ! -_- . Luckily, Fahim, being a super-super awesome friend, offered me the much needed ride home. He even showered me with water bottles so that I won't stain his car. Special note to Najee too, for coming back to check that I wasn't really left alone to rot with foul eggs and coffee :) . I OWE YOU TWO BIGTIMEEEEE ! , pink panther maw ? :)

All and all, although love and affection wasn't shown in the most proper way. But it was shown nonetheless. So again, for the millionth time, THANKYOUUU (!!) for really making my 18th birthday, to really feel like my 18th birthday :) . And also, thanks for making me smell like a breakfast gone horribly wrong -_-

Can Mali Can, Can Cali Ban, Oy Oy !

As of the 2nd Of August 2008

CALIBAN was frikkin hereeeeeeeee !! :DD . Although, can't admit that I'm the biggest fan, or at least, say that I'm a bigger fan than the dude who just downloaded their songs from their latest album through a filesharing software, and burn it all down in a rm1 CD. But, to actually, virtually see a band which you had been seeing in Youtube a few days before they're arrival, just so that you can at least sing-along with and recognize their breakdown, for a mere 35 bucks, is just awesome :D . With opening bands, such as Cassandra, Restraint, Oh Chentaku, , My Proof ( from Japan ) and others, made the ticket be thought as something to be a little too good for it's price :D

I went with Matt and Pithang, was super sure that more of the gang would follow though. The second we're there, the first thing that caught our eyes were the ridiculous amount of giggers scattered round the MCPA, and the nearby Mamak. Matt, being an avid gigger, admitted that the amount of people on the day, was the most he'd ever seen. Couldn't agree more.

What was super ironic, and a little disrespectful was that, the 2nd floor was where the screams and growls were howled, and the ground floor held a friggin funeral -_- . This adds a scary twist to the genre death metal :/ . Okay, I better shut up now. Adding sarcasm to anything religion related, is not funny.

So the gig went and on, and people kept pouring in until, oxygen was actually, too little to be supplied to all the lungs present. It was superrrr packed, superr stuffyyy, supperrrr hott, and yes, super sweatyy (with little wafts of super-stinky). The moshpit, although was supposed to drain energy out of people, but instead, it was the main power mill to keep me in the crowd.

The bands, in order if I remembered that well, was first, Kids on the move. They left a good first impression, although no screams or squeals, but yeah, they did good :) . Then, there was Revenge, yes, I don't blame you if you imagine they walk up the stage, wearing all black, with long, unruly hair, and moustaches and beards to leave little kids wet their knickers. But instead, a pure Rock Kapak, all nicely equipped with tight, patched jeans, even tighter shirts, and colourful bandannas. The lead resemble Jack Black so much, it's not even funny. But Jack Black's funny, so it's worth a few giggles. Then, urgh, okay my neutrons failed me here, but I remembered there were Cassandra, Oh Chentaku ( this was, I think, was their second last performance, they're last was held at The Laundry Bar later on ) and this awesome awesomee, Japanese band called Myproof. They were so clean and flawless. It's almost like they're lip-synching, but that's impossible. You can't lip-sync hardcore. Then there was Restraint, the last band before, the awaited CALIBAN ! .

And here's a clip of one of the moshing during Restraint :

If you notice at 0:12 , you can see a blue-capped dude , ramming full speed onto me, and unleashed a mighty headbutt to my fuhriggin stomach. I don't know if it's on purpose ( I always have been the victim of "tak puas hati pasal aku ni nampak mcm poser-ness, or is it just, a slice of the natural action in a normal moshpit, where hurting and to get hurt, is part of the deal. But, all in the name of good, harmless (HAH!), fun :)

Then, the moment we've all been waiting forrr, it's time forrr C-C-CALIBANNN ! :DD . Okay, I am not that excited, but, yeah, I'm seeing them eye-to-eye, not from a computer screen, you can say that I was quite thrilled 8) . They're attires looked closely similar to one of BMTH's tho, white shirts , with blood splatters :/ . But whattheheck, they maybe were friends and discussed on the outfit on a blackboard together, who knows. And, in case you feel a little missed out , here's a peek :) :

Caliban - I Rape Myself.

They threw the greatest wall of deaths, at least, for what I've been in. "LET'S GO TO WAAAR !" , a little line from Gwen Stacy's Gone Fishing song played in the head briefly before, CHAAAARGEE !! :DD . Awe-suhm-ness (Y)(Y)(Y) (Y) . They interacted with the crowd with such grace, and for the first time ever, a metal band asked all of us to sit down ? -_- . Yes, were ordered to sit down and be comfy. A little "HUH ? WHAT THA ?" , but I kinda needed that. Haha. Then, they asked nicely from all of us, to jump like a piranha's trapped in our boxers the exact moment they made the count. Weird, but I loike ! (y)

Not to sound gay, but I touched the vocal's hair :P . And for the record, I've drank the mineral water Nathan, Horse The Band's supreme vocals, poured on the crowd, (not so proudly of) got sprayed with Nathan's fuhrikkin sweat -_- , shook hands with most of HTB's band members, and each of one that I exchanged sweat with the palm of my hand, signed my CD and my pink and brown vans 8) .

Although they didn't stayed up and greet us fans, like Horse The Band but I don't think they're c0mBunKzZ~!! at all, they were super-great :) . I went home without a single dry spot on my t-shirt , my jeans, and what's underneath. Squirm if you may, but the night was phenomenal, and I got my exercise after, err I-lost-count weeks/month of neglecting my love handles.
